The Regional Fitness and Swimming Centre boasts the following facilities, sessions and activities:

Kinetika is our brand of specially designed fitness facilities, which has become synonymous with high standards and great value for money. See below for the fantastic benefits of becoming a kinetika member.

Individual kinetika ALL-INCLUSIVE MEMBERSHIP

• Unlimited access to our kinetika gym (over 16's only)
• Unlimited access to our wide range of classes from the class timetable
• Unlimited Swimming (during public sessions)
• Unlimited use of the Sauna and Steam room
• Unlimited use of the Lido during the Lido season

Family kinetika ALL INCLUSIVE MEMBERSHIP

Whilst two adults benefit from the All-inclusive individual membership, up to four children (under 16) can enjoy:

• Unlimited swimming during all Public and Family sessions (Please note that children under 8 must be supervised by an adult at all times at a ratio of 2 children to one adult)
• Free Junior Kinetika Gym during programmed sessions (over 11's)

Corporate Memberships

Junior Kinetika Gym Sessions

This is a session dedicated to our 11-16 year old members. Times are set aside each week for this session. It is a chance for our younger members to experience a structured and challenging gym session in a supervised environment.

Prior booking for Junior Kinetika is advised as it is one of our most popular sessions.

Casual users

If you are not a kinetika member and you do not have an @ctive card you can still use our centre. You can enjoy all of the same facilities that our memberships allow, however if you do use the centre more than twice a week it would be beneficial for you to be a member.

@ctive Card

The @ctive card is a leisure card scheme entitling you to discounts when using the complex on a casual basis.  The card allows you to receive exclusive booking rights and discounted rates at all of Peterborough City Council's sports centres and leisure centres.

Application forms for the @ctive card are available from the centre or alternatively contact Chantelle Watson at Peterborough City Council.

Please note-

That in order to use our gym you will be required to complete a gym induction.

For safety reason coats and bags are not permitted in the gym.

Membership cards and @active cards must be swiped at reception on arrival.

Kinetika Journey

Here at Peterborough Regional Fitness and Swimming Centre we offer you 5 training sessions with one of our qualified instructors who will work with you to create a fitness programme suited to your goals, needs and lifestyle.

Swimming

At the centre we have a 6 lane 25m competition pool and also a 20m teaching pool plus a diving pool with fully functioning diving boards.  We guarantee a casual swim at all times we are open and have a number of sessions to cater for everyone's needs varying from Family and Junior swimming to Adult only lane swimming. 

Competitions and galas can be accommodated here with our large spectator area.

We also have a sauna and steam room for you to relax and wind away the stresses of life

You can attend swimming as a casual user or why not save money and consider becoming a Kinetika Member!

Classes

Our classes are a great way of getting fit and having fun all at the same time!

We offer a wide range of classes here at the Regional from Yoga and Pilates to Body Pump and Body Combat, all at various times enabling us to cater for everyone's needs.

Kinetika members get the added benefit of being able to attend all classes for free, another great reason to become a member!

Courses

We offer Swimming Lessons through our City Swim Scheme. The scheme mirrors the ASA National Teaching Plan and we take children from 4 ½ years up to aged 90 years plus! We do also cater for parents and tots starting from after the babies' first injections.

We also run Diving Courses here at the centre, we are currently re launching Diving and so far the courses are fully booked up.

Birthday Parties

Let us take the stress and strain out of organising your child's birthday party.  All parties are fully staffed with party hosts, qualified instructors or lifeguards.

Speak to a receptionist for more info.

Although we do provide supervision for your party some will require additional parental supervision.

Vending Area

Why not relax after a work out in our vending area in reception and choose from our extensive range of hot and cold snacks, healthy fillers and children's options, or just sit and have a coffee!

Functions

As well as our birthday parties, we also have a multi purpose Pavilion available for hire and can be used for anything from 21st birthday parties to meetings and company team building days.

Athletics Track and Astroturf Pitches

For the budding athletes we have a Grade 1 National Standard athletics track which can be hired on a casual or block booking basis. This also has the added advantage of having its very own Pavilion which includes catering facilities as well as changing/showering and toilet facilities, and is an ideal venue for meetings and team building exercises.

Our Astroturf pitches offer everyone an opportunity to hire the pitches again on both casual and block booking basis.

We run our very own life guarding courses here at the centre, so if you are interested in becoming a lifeguard and potentially working here in the future get in touch!
