Facilities and Activities
Please note that Alfreton Leisure Centre is undergoing extensive refurbishment and a phased opening programme will take place throughout 2008. The Main Hall, Health and Fitness, Sports Hall, Squash and Food and Beverage will open on Monday 12th May. The Swimming Pool is scheduled to open on 1st September and the dedicated gymnastics facility this summer.
 Main Hall - due to the redevelopment programme the main hall will be closed until Monday 12th May 2008. Bookings are now being taken for football, badminton, volleyball and cricket.
kinetika Fitness Gym - 32 station fitness gym with a cardio vascular area and resistance equipment. Kinetika Training Zone for 11-16year olds is also available. The all new kinetika Fitness Gym will have 60 state-of-the-art exercise stations.
Special kinetika Opening offer - the fantastic new kinetika fitness gym is now scheduled to open on Monday 12th May 2008. To celebrate the launch of this new facility we are offering a limited number of founder memberships with a discount of up to £160 each. Membership includes use of our sister sites at Ripley and William Gregg VC Leisure Centres.

Fitness Classes - Due to the redevelopment programme and the closure of our main hall we will not be running fitness classes at Alfreton Leisure Centre until May 2008. Please see the fitness timetables for Ripley and William Gregg VC Leisure Centres for alternative class details.
6 Rink Bowls Hall - Our refurbished Bowls Hall is now open for the 2007/08 Bowls season. For details about how to book rinks, leagues and competitions please call 01773 833666.
Meeting Room and Function Suite - Our function suite is presently unavailable until 12th May 2008 due to the refurbishment works. To make an advance booking beyond this date then please contact Reception on 01773 834817.
Coaching Courses - the Centre offers a range of courses including football, trampolining and badminton. Should you require any further information then please contact the Centre on 01773 834817.
Play Zone - this class is no longer available at Alfreton but a similar session runs at Ripley Leisure Centre on a Thursday 9.30am - 11.30am.
Vibrogym - Lose weight and inches and reduce cellulite. Improve your flexibility, mobility and co-ordination on this highly advanced training equipment. An induction is required prior to use. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOW TEMPORARILY INCUDED WITHIN THE KINETIKA MEMBERSHIP PACKAGE ONCE THE INDUCTION HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
