Underwater sounds is a sound art installation for children and adults taking place at the Prince Regent Swimming Complex.  Underwater speakers submerged in the pool will play sounds and music to an audience floating or swimming through the water immersed in sound.  Sound travels four times quicker in water than in air so the sound is perceived not only by the ears but also by the bones and the body.  Session One (for under 14s) will include undersea life sounds as well as a mix of sound art and music.  Session Two for adults will include a listening gallery of sound art curated from works of international sound artists and some underwater 'aquadelica' 

Session One for under 14s (under 8s must be accompanied by an adult) 6.30pm-7.30pm

Session Two adults 8.00pm-1.30am (last entry 1am)
