NATIONAL POOL LIFEGUARD QUALIFICATION COURSES 2012

Cost: £250

Pre-requisites:
Jump / dive into deep water
Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water.
Tread water for 30 seconds
Surface dive to the floor of the pool
Climb out unaided without ladder / steps

For an additional £10 we can also train and qualify you in the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

Swimming Pools

Here at the centre we have a fantastic 25 metre pool, with a fun and baby pool and a flume!

Kinetika Gym

The centre boasts excellant Cardio and Resistance Equipment within the gym, meaning whatever your aims and objectives are, we will definately be able to meet your requirements. Various membership options are available so please contact the centre for more details.

Health Suite

Located near to our Swimming Pools are the Sauna and Steam Rooms. Whether you want to relax after a hard workout, or start the day fresh with a Sauna or Steam these offer the ideal setting.

Bowls Hall

A fantastic 4 rink Bowls Hall is available for the public to use on a Pay and Play basis. However please be sure to book at Reception before hand. The Bowls Hall is also the home of the Felixstowe Indoor Bowls Club.

Funtasia Adventure Play Area

Children's indoor adventure play area includes an undersea world inflatable, galleon treasure island trail, ball pools and an abundance of soft play toys.

Creche

Our Creche offers childcare facilities for newborns to 5 years and is open to parents using the facilities. Leave your child with the peace of mind that they are being looked after by qualified child carers, whilst you enjoy your favourite activity. Pre booking is recommended.

Main Hall

The centre also boasts an attractive main hall ideal for many different activities including dancing, children's activities, wrestling shows and even wedding receptions! Call us to find out more.

Cafe

The centre has it's very own Cafe, offering a great option to have a cool drink after a workout, or relax in comfort whilst waiting for your child. The cafe is open to everyone, so please call in for a refreshment!

Swimming Academy

We have the biggest and best Swimming Academy running in Felixstowe offering all ages an opportunity to learn to swim. All of our instructors are qualified teachers, and we follow the ASA's National Teaching Plan, therefore leaving you in no doubt that your child is recieving the best tuition possible.

Personal Training

If you need that extra push to hit and exceed your targets why not book in for a session with our highly qualified REPs registered Personal Trainers. Highly knowledgeable and offering an abundance of motivation they will help you achieve your aims whatever they are.

Training Courses

We offer training for both AED and Lifeguarding courses at the centre. Course are available throughout the year, so please give us a call to find out more.
