Our kinetika gym is open to all ages and abilities offering a wide range of cardiovascular and strength equipment to help you improve your fitness and work towards a healthier lifestyle. Free Swimming is no longer being funded by the Government as of 31st July 2010.

However, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council in partnership with DC Leisure has agreed to continue providing FREE SWIMMING for people aged 60 & over and 16 & under until 30th September 2010.

Continuation beyond September is under review by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.

If the Free Swimming initiative does not apply to you there are other ways you can enjoy complimentary swimming at the Centre by:
• an all-inclusive kinetika membership
• a swim membership – join in August for just £20.10 and pay NOTHING until the 1st October!

Included in all kinetika memberships is our 5 step programme to help you organise your personal fitness assessment and develop a training programme tailored to help you reach your personal targets.
Each step is booked in advance with your qualified fitness instructor and will include a lifestyle appraisal, an introduction to the gym, two motivational sessions and a review session. At the end of the kinetika journey you will have a personalised fitness programme and a thorough understanding of an effective workout.

We have a wide range of fitness classes available for all ages and abilities. Our fitness class programme offers a range of different classes which are challenging, fun or great to meet new friends.

We have a 25 meter 6 lane main pool and a separate leisure water area with ateaching area, graduated steps, lazy river and bubble pool. The pools complex offer a range of activities including General Swimming, Lane Swimming, Ladies Only, Family Fun Sessions, Parent & Toddler Swimming and Water based fitness classes.

Treat yourself to a deep cleansing, whole body experience in our sauna and steam rooms located on the poolside. Sauna and Steam rooms are available during general public sessions.

Our 6 court Sports Hall has modern sporting facilities available for casual hire as well as private session hire and vibrant club use. The Sports Hall is available for badminton, netball, 5-a-side football, basketball, indoor cricket practice, trampolining, volleyball and gymnastics.

Our squash facilities offer some of the most up to date squash courst in the Rotherham area with 4 glass backed courts with moveable walls which can allow the courts to be used for coaching.
